Job summary

Leeds Stop Smoking Service is seeking a Stop Smoking Advisor to help clients through their quit journey, including those with complex health and social needs. You will deliver tailored treatment plans, explain cessation options, and monitor progress.

The role involves some evenings and weekends, carbon monoxide testing, and maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory standards, with opportunities to travel across Leeds to support both community and clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Interest in smoking cessation, health improvement or healthcare.
• Level 2 Smoking Cessation Adviser qualification or willingness to work toward it.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to travel across Leeds to deliver support in community and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client-led treatment plans to support quit attempts.
• Explain cessation options to help clients make informed decisions.
• Conduct carbon monoxide monitoring and maintain accurate records.
• Build strong relationships with clients and health/community partners.
• Support people at every stage of their quit journey.
