Job summary

Thrive Tribe is recruiting a Specialist Stop Smoking Advisor to support ASC clients in County Durham, delivering face-to-face, telephone, and online stop smoking services. The role integrates community health settings with partner organisations and requires strong communication and a collaborative mindset.

We offer a 37.5-hour week, a 1-year maternity cover, and training to develop expertise in Stop Smoking practice.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience of supporting ASC services and vulnerable clients is desirable.
• Full training will be provided.
• Experience with Stop Smoking Advisor training (NCSCT) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based stop smoking interventions to support cessation.
• Run stop smoking clinics in community or outreach settings.
• Develop engagement and marketing initiatives to raise awareness.
• Collaborate with partner organisations to establish referral pathways.
• Ensure safe client experiences in line with policies.
• Participate in relevant training, e.g., NCSCT Level 1/2.
• Use IT systems to manage tasks and client data.
• Work with Thrive Tribe teams on service development.
• Adhere to information governance and clinical governance guidance.
