Job summary

Change Grow Live (CGL) in London is seeking a Senior Smoke Free Advisor to lead a high-quality stop-smoking project. The role involves developing and improving the service, ensuring quality assurance, data recording, and marketing communications to support those in Tower Hamlets.

The post focuses on harm reduction, behaviour change, and tobacco treatment, with face-to-face delivery in the community. Part of a broader health and social care remit within CGL.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and/or social care settings.
• Ability to complete assessments and deliver tailored interventions.
• Knowledge of smoking cessation policies and treatments.
• Ability to provide behavioural support using motivational interviewing.
• Experience with dispensing Nicotine Replacement Products.
• Proficiency with MS Office and electronic recording systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality stop smoking service and promote benefits of a smoke-free life.
• Lead quality assurance, data reporting and continual improvement processes.
• Deliver harm reduction, behaviour change and treatment interventions.
• Work within NRT and E‑cigarette protocols.
• Engage with the community to raise awareness and referrals.
