Job summary

National Bank is seeking an Account Manager for Business Flex in Surrey. The role involves advising SME clients, analyzing credit requests, and developing financing scenarios, with a focus on remote advisory and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will work within a 37.5-hour week, hybrid in branches, and report to the Senior Director, Business Flex, joining a team of 125 experts to grow the SME client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial credit for Relationship Manager positions, and business or personal credit for Account Manager positions.
• Knowledge of commercial products
• Proven experience in business development (5+ years)
• Knowledge of healthcare professional network is an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide an advisory role in line with clients' needs
• Analyze credit requests, develop financing scenarios and propose appropriate solutions
• Negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements with clients
• Apply and follow up on recommendations made by the various specialists at the Bank and its subsidiaries to promote profitable business development
• Take responsibility for your personal development and knowledge of SMEs economics
