Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Relationship Manager for SME Business Banking in Leeds. You will manage a portfolio of 50–70 clients with turnover between £2m and £15m, focusing on sustainable growth and expanding relationships through HSBC's network.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in Business/Corporate Banking or Financial Services
• Relationship management experience with a focus on client service
• Business development skills with track record of expanding accounts
• Commercial lending experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of risk management
• Full driving licence to attend meetings across West Yorkshire

Responsibilities

• Manage an existing portfolio of 50–70 SME clients, expanding relationships and growing the business sustainably
• Act as HSBC ambassador by increasing the bank's profile in the local business community
• Support customers and place their needs at the forefront while maintaining world-class standards
• Identify new business opportunities and nurture existing relationships
• Build relationships with local professionals and business owners who can introduce new clients
• Adhere to risk, regulatory and process frameworks across credit, operations and financial crime
• Collaborate with product partners to assess needs of international and domestic customers and offer suitable solutions
