We are currently seeking SMART Meter Engineer Support Agents with electricity & gas meter experience to join our growing Field Debt Solutions team. You will play a key role in assisting customers to resolve their debts, support future payments, install PAYG meters where appropriate, and help reduce energy consumption.

We will provide all necessary equipment: smartphone, tablet, tools, uniform, vehicle, and fuel card. You will be trained to install SMART meters according to E.ON standards and to recommend suitable payment options. Post-training, you can earn extra through our reward scheme based on customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities include

• Providing excellent service by understanding customer circumstances and helping them agree on solutions to resolve their debt.
• Planning efficient routes to minimize carbon footprint.
• Conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and collecting information.
• Identifying new tenants through face-to-face discussions, letting agents, and neighbors, while complying with DPA.
• Exchanging meters to SMART Pay as You Go or Classic Prepayment.
• Leading warrant teams to access customer premises when necessary for meter exchange/disconnection.

• Recording job details using appropriate paperwork or electronic tools.
• Reporting health and safety risks or customer vulnerabilities.
