Job summary

Honeywell offers an exciting opportunity for a Smart Meter Engineer to join our team in central belt Scotland. You will provide technical support and service maintenance of smart metering and AMI at customer sites, with travel across central Scotland as required.

Qualifications

Experience in field-based engineering or maintenance with fault diagnosis skills.
Strong customer-facing abilities and relationship-building across diverse stakeholders.
Structured problem-solving approach and analytical mindset.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams across remote sites.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support, training and workshops on smart water metering solutions.
Deliver second-line technical support for smart metering and AMI incidents remotely or in the field.
Collaborate with production, logistics and third-party tech providers for deployment.
Support testing, pilot installs and proof-of-concept projects for customer approval.
Contribute to product improvement with feedback and industry-standard best practices.
