Job summary

Stark is seeking an experienced Electric Meter Engineer to support AMR metering and sub metering projects across the UK. The role involves installations, maintenance and CT chamber work, with training provided at a dedicated centre.

You’ll work from home, join a strong field team, and respond to customer needs, sometimes outside standard hours. The ideal candidate has hands-on metering experience, familiarity with EDMI, Honeywell Elster and ISKRA meters, and good IT skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of complex AMR metering installations and setups
• Proactive time management and the ability to progress appointments through to successful completions
• Be familiar with AMR meter types (EDMI, Honeywell Elster, ISKRA) and their software
• Familiarity with AMR metering modems, aerial connections and programming
• Good IT and MS Office skills
• Flexibility to support customer demands
• Sound electrical metering background for Code of Practice 3, 5 and 10 Smart Metering and CTs

Responsibilities

• Carry out complete installations and replacements of WC meters for varying contracts
• Installation and Maintenance of LV/HV COP3, COP5 and COP10 Smart Metering Systems for Commercial/Industrial customers
• Installation and commissioning of 3rd party metering equipment
• Wiring of meter looms from TTB on CT Chambers
• CT cabinet installation and wiring of DNO CTs
• Meter commissioning and data accuracy on each job
