Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking Smart Meter Engineers to install meters in customers' homes, demonstrate in-home displays, and explain how these tools help save energy. You will be a friendly, safety-conscious representative of our brand in customers’ homes.

You’ll work with a supportive team, backed by Octopus Energy’s tech power, and receive a competitive package including a £36,500 starting salary, a £2,500 annual bonus and opportunities to earn more through performance and on-call pay.

Qualifications

• Experience installing smart meters is required.
• Customer-first mindset and can-do attitude.
• MOCoPA certification (valid within last 2 years).
• Gas Safe certification CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters in customers' homes and show how the meter and in-home display work.
• Explain energy-saving benefits and answer questions about the installation.
• Represent Octopus Energy Services with a focus on safety and customer excellence.
