Job summary

Octopus Energy Group seeks Smart Meter Engineers to install meters in customers’ homes, demonstrating in-home displays and energy-saving features. You’ll be a face of Octopus Energy Services, delivering safety-first, customer-focused service with strong support from a tech-enabled team.

Requirements include prior smart meter installation experience, MOCoPA, Gas Safe CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1, and a full UK driving licence with ≤6 points. Competitive salary and bonus schemes offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience installing smart meters.
• A customer first mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
• MOCoPA certification held within the last 2 years (evidence required)
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Fitting meters in customers' homes and demonstrating how the meter and in-home display work.
• Explain how energy saving works and answer questions about the green energy revolution.
• Represent Octopus Energy Services and deliver top-class customer service during installations.
