• Train or coach Marine Surveyor colleagues on MCA S&I activities to ensure consistency with MCA standards.
• Lead surveys for small/non-convention vessels, issue statutory certificates, and provide expert advice.
• Inspect small/non-convention vessels and port installations to ensure compliance with international and UK requirements.
• Advise industry and the public per MCA policies; be the point of contact for designated vessel owners.
• Work with the BM and MO teams to deliver a high-quality survey and inspection service.
