Job Description:
Job Function: To provide proactive and multi-discipline maintenance services to stores, complying with company policies and procedures.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and according to procedures.
- Assess job requirements and carry out repairs as needed.
- Prioritize maintenance and repair work to meet deadlines.
- Order spares following required procedures.
- Identify non-repairable issues and advise the Regional Supervisor with recommendations.
- Inform store managers of repair and maintenance issues affecting store operations.
- Perform minor alterations and installations per current specifications.
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance at store sites, including building fabric, shelving, and signage.
- Ensure tools and equipment are available and in good condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of time and mileage.
- Attend training to keep skills up-to-date with technical developments.
- Follow Health and Safety policies at all times.
- Work with colleagues to maintain quality standards.
- Keep company vehicle clean, maintained, and serviced.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and managers.
