Qualifications

The day to day
  • Performdaily calibrationof laboratory equipment and assist with quality control checks
  • Prepareculture mediaand other materials for microbiological testing
  • Operate theautoclaveand ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of glassware
  • Maintainstock levelsand support inventory management for lab supplies
  • Follow alllaboratory proceduresand safety protocols accurately
  • Keep thework area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
The Essentials
  • Minimum5 GCSEs(or equivalent), including Science, English, and Mathematics
  • Strongattention to detailand ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks
  • Aconsistent employment recordand reliable work ethic
  • Ability towork independentlyas well as part of a small team
  • Basiccomputer literacy: LIMS experience is a bonus
  • Apositive, proactive attitudewith a willingness to learn and grow
