Job summary

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered) to join a specialist SEN school in London from September. You will work with children and young people with a range of communication, language, autism and complex SEND needs, providing assessment, intervention and professional guidance.

The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals, contributing to EHCP processes and supporting staff to embed

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist is required.
• Experience working with children or young people in SEND settings is essential.
• Strong assessment, intervention and report-writing skills are necessary.
• Experience supporting pupils with autism or complex needs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' speech, language, communication and interaction needs.
• Develop and deliver individual and group therapy programmes.
• Provide advice and strategies to teaching and support staff.
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews and outcomes.
• Support pupils with expressive/receptive language and social communication needs.
• Use AAC and other communication approaches as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
• Work within a multidisciplinary SEND team.
