Job summary

Ribbons and Reeves Limited in London seeks an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary SEN team from September.

HCPC-registered therapist with experience supporting children with autism and complex SEND will assess, intervene and advise in a school setting. The role involves collaboration with teachers and external professionals to embed communication strategies throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
• Knowledge of autism and complex SEND needs.
• Experience delivering assessments, interventions and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' speech, language, communication and interaction needs.
• Develop and deliver individual and group therapy programmes.
• Provide advice and strategies to teaching staff.
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews and outcomes.
• Support pupils with expressive/receptive language and social communication needs.
• Work with pupils using AAC and other communication approaches.
• Monitor and evaluate pupil progress.
• Maintain clinical records and reports.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary SEND team.
