Job summary

Ribbons and Reeves Limited in London is seeking an experienced HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary SEND team from September 2026. You will work directly with children and young people with a range of communication, language, autism and complex SEND needs.

The role involves specialist assessment, intervention and advice in a specialist SEN school, developing therapy programmes, contributing to EHCPs and embedding communication strategies across the school day.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Relevant Speech and Language Therapy degree.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong knowledge of SEND and communication needs.
• Experience supporting pupils with autism and/or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' speech, language, communication and interaction needs.
• Develop and deliver individual and group therapy programmes.
• Provide advice and strategies to teaching and support staff.
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews and outcomes.
• Support pupils with expressive/receptive language and social communication needs.
• Work with pupils using AAC, visual communication and other approaches.
• Monitor and evaluate pupil progress.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary SEND team.
