Job summary

Ribbons and Reeves Limited in London is seeking an experienced HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary SEN school team from September. You will work directly with children and young people with a range of communication, language, autism and complex SEND needs to help pupils access education and build independence.

The role involves specialist assessment, intervention and advice across the school, collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as Speech and Language Therapist
• Relevant SLT degree required
• Experience working with children/young people preferred
• Experience supporting pupils with autism/complex SEND
• Strong assessment, intervention and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' speech, language, communication and interaction needs
• Develop and deliver individual and group therapy programmes
• Provide advice to teaching and support staff
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews and outcomes
• Support pupils with expressive/receptive language and social communication needs
• Work with pupils using AAC and visual communication methods
• Monitor and evaluate pupil progress
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary SEND team
• Support staff to embed communication strategies throughout the school day
