Job summary

Blackstone Education is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist for a SEN college in Bromley. The post involves clinical SLT assessments, intervention and leadership of a multidisciplinary team including nurses and assistants.

You will work to support communication, independence and EHCP outcomes, balancing direct therapy (about 70%) with team supervision and service development in a college setting.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Speech & Language Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Evidence of CPD
• Knowledge of communication development and disorders
• Understanding of autism and learning disabilities
• Experience working with SEND in educational settings

Responsibilities

• Deliver SLT assessments and interventions for students with diverse needs.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group interventions to support communication and participation.
• Lead and support the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless therapy delivery.
• Maintain HCPC-aligned documentation and data for outcomes.
• Contribute to safeguarding, audits and service improvement.
