Job summary

Blackstone Education are working with an SEN Further Education College based in Bromley who are looking to recruit a permanent Speech and Language Therapist to join their team. You will be based at the College and deliver speech and language assessments and interventions for students with complex communication needs.

The postholder leads a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses and assistants, providing supervision and contributing to service development.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Speech & Language Therapy required.
• HCPC registration is essential.
• Evidence of CPD and active RCSLT membership preferred.
• Experience delivering Speech & Language Therapy in educational settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SLT assessments and interventions for students with diverse communication needs.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses and assistants.
• Provide supervision and professional development for education staff and families.
• Maintain HCPC-compliant records and contribute to clinical governance.
