Job summary

Blackstone Education is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist for a SEN Further Education College in Bromley. You will assess, plan and deliver SLT services for students with a range of communication needs, while supervising a multidisciplinary team and contributing to college leadership.

You will work with families and staff to implement evidence-based strategies, ensure HCPC standards are met, and monitor outcomes in a college setting. This is a permanent, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech & Language Therapy or equivalent.
• HCPC registration in good standing.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.
• Member of RCSLT and active engagement in professional practice.
• Knowledge of communication development and disorders; evidence-based practice.
• Experience with SEND and pediatric populations; safeguarding awareness.
• Experience delivering SLT interventions and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SLT assessments and interventions for students with diverse needs.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group interventions to improve communication and participation.
• Create goals aligned with EHCP outcomes and student needs.
• Lead and supervise the college therapy team and contribute to senior leadership.
• Support safeguarding, governance, and HCPC standards within the service.
• Collaborate with families, education staff and other professionals to implement strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage caseloads effectively.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement and staff training.
