Job summary

MERKUR Slots UK Limited is seeking a Supervisor in Worksop to lead venue teams and deliver first‑class service. You’ll manage opening, trading and closing, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety across the venue.

This role requires excellent communication, adaptability, and a proactive approach to driving revenue, with day and night shift availability in a busy, 24‑hour operation. Benefits include a competitive hourly rate and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role within gaming/retail/hospitality
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience leading and mentoring others
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Willingness to work both day and night shifts (24-hour venue)

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for opening, trading and closure of the venue
• Assist the venue manager in day-to-day activities
• Maintain high interior/exterior standards and housekeeping
• Establish and maintain customer service standards and maximise income
• Implement marketing/promotional activities to maximise revenue opportunities
• Assist senior managers to maximise business opportunities
• Ensure venue cash collections are processed accurately and on time
• Adhere to company security procedures
• Conduct regular checks of floats, keys and related controls
• Ensure safety of employees and customers at all times
• Complete daily/weekly/periodical administration on time
• Address day-to-day problems arising from venue staff
• Promote a positive working environment and company image
• Promote safeguarding and social responsibility measures
