Job summary

MERKUR Slots UK Limited is seeking a Day Supervisor to join our venue teams. You will lead and mentor team members, ensure daily targets are met, and maintain high morale and productivity. Training will be provided, with initial sessions in Bristol Broadmead and potential travel to other Bristol venues.

The role involves opening, trading and closing the venue, delivering excellent customer service, and upholding safety and compliance standards across shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role within the gaming, retail, hospitality, or similar industry.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with leading and mentoring others.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing shift patterns.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Industry and compliance training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the opening, trading and closure of the venue.
• Assist the venue manager in day-to-day activities of the venue.
• Regularly inspect interior/exterior standards and housekeeping to a high level.
• Establish and maintain customer service standards and maximise income.
• Implement marketing/promotional activities to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Assist senior managers to maximise business opportunities within the venue.
• Ensure venue cash collections are carried out timely and in line with procedures.
• Adhere to all Company security procedures.
• Conduct regular checks of floats, keys, etc., and take appropriate action.
• Ensure the safety of all employees and customers on site.
