Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an organized receptionist to bridge communication between patients and clinical staff, answering calls, booking appointments and supporting clinic administration.

You will be pivotal to the communication between our patients and our clinical staff – answering patient calls and queries, nurse queries, liaising with consultants, creating and changing clinics, booking out patient appointment's and reception cover. We are looking for someone who can work independently and thrives on building relationships with clinicians, staff and patients. Reception Cover Booking appointments from waiting lists Creating and changing all clinics Monitoring waiting times to review demands of clinic types Providing assistance and support to other administrative and clinical members of the department or division, including managing telephone communications and addressing patient enquiries from patients, carers and visitors. Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (hours and allocated days to be discussed at interview) Interview Date: 25th September 2026

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
