Job summary
WR Engineering is recruiting a commercially minded Business Development Manager to lead the Slicing Technologies portfolio across the UK and Germany. You will own the product range, shape sales strategies, grow market share and maximise profitability while collaborating with sales teams, customers and international OEM partners.
The role requires a technical background with strong commercial awareness, travel 2-3 nights per week and the ability to develop tailored solutions that demonstrate ROI
Qualifications
- Experience with food processing machinery or capital equipment is ideal.
- Technical background with strong commercial awareness.
- Previous roles in Product Management, Technical Sales or Applications Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and gross margin growth across the UK.
- Develop product strategies, pricing, market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Provide specialist technical and application support to sales teams and customers.
- Lead product launches, trials, FATs, exhibitions and product training.
- Develop tailored solutions demonstrating ROI and yield improvements.
- Build strong relationships with customers, internal teams and international partners.
