Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Welder to join the Manufacturing and Assembly team in Norwich (NR6). The role focuses on MIG and TIG welding to a high standard, working from detailed drawings and specifications.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, permanent position. Pay rate is between £16.00 and £17.50 per hour. The successful candidate will contribute to quality welds and efficient fabrication while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings.
• High attention to detail and workmanship standards.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and workshop safety practices.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Welding qualifications or certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and other materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication diagrams.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure strong, clean welds.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with fabrication and assembly tasks as needed.
