Job summary

StoneTech Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator for a permanent, on-site role in Thetford. Starting ASAP, you will weld and fabricate components to engineering drawings, contributing to a well-established engineering business.

The ideal candidate has MIG/TIG welding experience, solid fabrication skills, and the ability to read drawings. Immediate start available; permanent position based in Thetford.

Qualifications

MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator

Location: Thetford, Norfolk

Pay: £15.00–£17.00 per hour, depending on experience

Start: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established engineering business based in Thetford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder/fabricator looking for a new role with an immediate start available.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for MIG and TIG welding and general fabrication work, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding of various materials
• General fabrication and assembly work
• Working from engineering drawings
• Measuring, cutting, forming and preparing materials
• Ensuring welds and finished components meet quality standards
• Carrying out visual inspection of finished work
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Good fabrication skills

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications are advantageous but not essential
