Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Norwich is seeking a TIG welder to join a busy workshop. The role focuses on stainless steel fabrication, reading drawings, and producing precise welds to specification.

You will set up equipment, inspect work, and report defects. Full-time, permanent position with regular hours Monday to Friday, plus overtime as required, in a modern workshop.

Competitive hourly rate £16.00–£17.50 and permanent contract. Training and on-site support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding and stainless steel.
• Ability to read welding drawings and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and preparing welding equipment.
• Reading welding engineering drawings to ensure accurate welds.
• Operating TIG welding machinery with precision and to specification.
• Conducting visual inspections and quality checks, performing repairs or rework as needed.
• Reporting any defects to management.
• Using various hand and power tools to ensure all products meet company standards.

Our client is seeking a TIG welder to join their busy workshop team. Candidates will need to have worked in a similar position and will be confident with working Stainless steel.

• Operating TIG welding machinery with precision and to specification
• Conducting visual inspections and quality checks, performing repairs or rework as needed
• Reporting any defects to management
• Using various hand and power tools to ensure all products are up to company standards.
