Nottingham City Council is recruiting an experienced Roofer for a fixed-term contract of 2 years. The role focuses on delivering quality roofing for rented housing, improving landlord-tenant relations and ensuring health and safety compliance.

Formación

• Experience in all aspects of roofing works.
• Qualified, certified & trained to NVQ3 or C&G Advanced Craft.
• Full and valid driving licence.
• Experience communicating with customers with differing needs.
• Experience carrying out investigations and tests to identify faults and root causes.
• Well-organised with methodical task prioritisation.

Responsabilidades

• Strip old roofs and install new roof coverings; carry out roofing repairs and fascia/guttering works.
• Perform day-to-day planned roofing works; use other trades to achieve first-time fix when efficient.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and contribute to tenant satisfaction.
