Nottingham City Council is seeking an experienced Roofer to support good quality rented housing and tenant satisfaction. The role is a fixed-term contract for 2 years with a starting salary of £37,563, rising to £40,444 per annum, based on a 37-hour week.

You will carry out roofing works including strip and install, planned repairs, fascia and guttering, and work with other trades to achieve first-time fixes while prioritising health and safety. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in all aspects of roofing works.
• NVQ3 or C&G Advance Craft qualification or equivalent.
• Full and valid driving licence.
• Experience communicating with customers with differing needs.
• Experience identifying faults and root causes and implementing lasting solutions.
• Organised, methodical approach and prioritisation skills.

Responsabilités

• Strip old roofs and install new roof coverings.
• Carry out planned roofing works, repairs, fascia and guttering works.
• Collaborate with other trades to achieve first-time fixes where efficient.
