Job summary

VGC Group are currently recruiting for a Skilled Operative to join a project based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual looking for work, and to gain experience with a Tier 1 client.

The successful candidate will assist with general civil works and groundworks, support site teams with day-to-day operations, and help maintain safe and efficient work areas.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card is required.
• CPCS card is required.
• NPORS not accepted on this site; CPCS or willingness to self-fund is needed.
• Experience in this role or similar is preferred.
• Right to work in the UK.

Job description

VGC Group are currently recruiting for a Skilled Operative to join a project based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual looking for work, and to gain experience with a Tier 1 client. We are looking for someone with some knowledge of working around cranes (banksman slinger experience or exposure).

The successful candidate will be able to work well as part of a team, and support site operations to keep the project running safely and efficiently.

Pay Rate: £17.41 per hour PAYE

Lodge and Travel is not available for this role.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting general civil works and groundworks
• Supporting site teams with day to day operations
• Ensuring work areas are maintained safely and efficiently

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid CSCS Card
• CPCS Card
• CPCS Excavator or Roller (Desirable)
• Previous experience in this role or similar
• A good work ethic and positive attitude
• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Good punctuality and reliability
• Right to work in the UK

Please note NPORS is NOT accepted on this site, to be suitable for this role you must have a CPCS card or willing to self fund if offered the position.
