Job summary

VGC Group are recruiting for Dumper/Roller Drivers to join our team on a major project in Leiston. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working Dumper/Roller Driver seeking long-term work on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects. Pay rate is £22.32 per hour CIS, with hours Monday to Friday 7am-5pm and potential overtime.

Start date ASAP. Accommodation can be provided for successful candidates depending on location; lodge/travel pay not provided.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) required.
• Proven experience in dumper/roller driving roles.
• Understanding of plant safety protocols and on-site traffic coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operate forward machinery safely and efficiently on an active construction site.
• Haul and tip earth, stone, aggregates and spoil to designated locations.
• Support groundworks and other teams as directed.

Job description

VGC Group are currently recruiting for Dumper/Roller Drivers to join our team on a major project in Leiston.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working Dumper/Roller Drivers looking to secure long term work and be part of one of the UKs largest infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in the delivery of this major infrastructure project, working within a safe, high-performing and collaborative environment.

Pay Rate: £22.32 per hour CIS

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm + overtime potential

Start Date: ASAP

No lodge or travel pay for this role, accommodation can be provided for successful candidates depending on their location.

As a Dumper/Roller Driver your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Operating forward machinery safely and efficiently across an active construction site
• Hauling and tipping earth, stone, aggregates and spoil to designated locations
• Supporting groundworks and other teams as directed
• Conducting pre-start checks and reporting mechanical issues to plant fitters or supervisors
• Working in coordination with banksmen, 360 operators, and other plant operatives
• Maintaining awareness of pedestrians, vehicles and plant movements in a busy, high-risk environment

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo)
• Proven experience in these roles
• Understanding of plant safety protocols and on-site traffic coordination
