Job summary

VGC Group are recruiting for a 360 Machine Driver to join a major project in Leiston. The role pays £25.56 per hour CIS, with hours Monday to Friday 7am-5pm and potential overtime. Start ASAP; lodge/travel pay is not included, though accommodation can be provided depending on location.

You will operate wheeled or tracked 360-degree excavators (above/below 10t), assist civils and earthworks teams, perform daily checks and adhere to strict safety protocols on a nuclear-regulated site.

Qualifications

• Requires CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo for 360 Excavator (above/below 10t preferred).
• Proven experience in civils or infrastructure projects.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheeled or tracked 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently.
• Support civils, earthworks, drainage and ducting teams on site.
• Perform daily checks and report machinery maintenance needs.
• Follow site safety protocols, including in nuclear-regulated environments.
• Communicate effectively with wider teams and supervisors.
• Take and follow instructions from site supervisors.

VGC Group are currently recruiting for 360 Machine Drivers to join our team on a major project in Leiston.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working 360 Machine Drivers looking to secure long term work and be part of one of the UKs largest infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in the delivery of this major infrastructure project, working within a safe, high-performing and collaborative environment.

Pay Rate: £25.56 per hour CIS

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm + overtime potential

Start Date: ASAP

No lodge or travel pay for this role, accommodation can be provided for successful candidates depending on their location.

As a 360 Machine Driver your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Safe and efficient operation of wheeled or tracked 360-degree excavators (above and below 10 tonnes)
• Supporting civils, earthworks, drainage and ducting teams across various site phases
• Daily checks and maintenance reporting of machinery
• Adhering strictly to site safety protocols, particularly within a nuclear-regulated environment
• Communicating effectively with wider teams
• Following instructions from supervisors

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) 360 Excavator ticket (above & below 10t preferred)
• Proven experience in a similar civils or infrastructure environment
• Right to work in the UK
