Job summary

Mears Group in Folkestone is seeking an experienced Bricklayer to join our repairs team on a busy social housing contract. This full‑time, permanent role involves practical bricklaying and grounds work on occupied properties, with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.

You will build new brick walls, restore brickwork, render walls, read construction plans, and work with other trades to coordinate activities.

Qualifications

• Experienced in bricklaying and confident in carrying out all listed duties.
• Previous experience working within social housing environments.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Build new brick walls and restore damaged brickwork.
• Render full walls; mix and apply mortar or adhesives.
• Cut bricks to size using hand or power tools; lay foundations and walls.
