Mears Group in London is seeking an experienced Bricklayer to support a busy responsive repairs contract in Tower Hamlets. This hands-on role focuses on bricklaying duties in occupied social housing properties, building and maintaining walls, rendering, and ensuring safety.

The role offers a competitive annual salary up to £39,000, a company van and fuel card, and a range of family-friendly policies and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experienced in bricklaying, able to carry out all listed duties.
• Experience in social housing environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Build new brick walls.
• Restore damaged brickwork and cracks.
• Render full walls and apply mortar/adhesives.
• Cut bricks to size and lay foundations and walls.
• Repoint brickwork and read construction plans.
• Set out and level courses; install damp-proofing as required.
