Müller UK & Ireland in Skelmersdale is seeking a dynamic Logistics Operations Manager to lead our depot team. You will drive performance, ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems, and optimise depot operations to meet KPIs and service targets.

The role requires a CPC Transport Manager certificate, IOSH, and GCSEs; milk or food logistics experience is preferred. We offer up to 15% annual bonus, a £550 car allowance or company car, private medical insurance,

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Manage depot operations including rota planning, staffing and cost control.
• Deliver against KPIs and OGSM targets.
• Drive customer service excellence for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure legal compliance for drivers and vehicles.
• Conduct performance reviews, training and disciplinary procedures.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead our Logistics team in Skelmersdale Depot. You'll lead a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with all legal and safety standards., Proven experience in senior-level transport operations.

Qualifications Essential:

• Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C or equivalent)
• Licence CPC Certification to Transport manager certificate of professional Competence.
• IOSH Certification

Desired:

• Experience in milk or food logistics
• Familiarity with unionized environments (e.g., USDAW)
