Job summary

Collingwood College in Camberley is seeking a Sixth Form Learning Coach on a fixed-term contract to July 2027. The role is 22.5 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, supporting students with EHCPs through academic, pastoral and emotional guidance.

The successful candidate will work closely with Sixth Form students, teachers and the SEND team to deliver EHCP provisions, foster resilience and independence, and create a calm study environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting young people, ideally in education or SEND settings.
  • Understanding EHCPs and how to support learners with needs.
  • Ability to build positive, professional relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sixth Form students in lessons, study periods and interventions.
  • Deliver EHCP provision and help students achieve outcomes.
  • Provide mentoring and emotional support for students with SEMH needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEND team and external professionals to ensure support.
