Job summary

EDF Energy Limited at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead all warehouse, materials, stores and logistics activities to safely and efficiently support the project. You will drive cost-effective material delivery and maintain excellent inventory control.

You will forecast demand, coordinate procurement, manage deliveries, and liaise with construction, procurement and management teams to minimise risks and maximise uptime.

Qualifications

• Level 3-5 qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing.
• HNC/HND in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Construction Management, or similar.
• ILM Level 3 to5 in Leadership & Management.
• CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehouse personnel and subcontractors, ensuring safe working practices and high productivity.
• Develop and implement warehouse, materials management and logistics processes.
• Take ownership of site inventory, stock control and material traceability, ensuring availability of critical project materials.
• Forecast material demand and coordinate procurement activities.
• Expedite purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring timely material availability.
