Job summary

GXO Logistics in Bridgwater is seeking a Shift Lead to join the HPC project team. You will oversee warehouse operations, ensuring items are received, prepared, and dispatched safely while leading and motivating your team to deliver results.

The role is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts from 6am to 6pm. Competitive rate of pay and career opportunities within a major infrastructure programme.

• Manage workflow and priorities to meet operational targets and deadlines
• Act as the first point of contact for your team, providing guidance and resolving issues quickly

Here at GXO, we're looking for a Shift Lead to join our team in Bridgwater, supporting the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Nuclear Build, the first in a new generation of UK power stations delivering low-carbon electricity to millions of homes. You'll oversee warehouse operations, ensuring items are received, prepared, and dispatched safely and compliantly to site, while leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding results.

This is a full-time permanent position. You'll be working Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6am to 6pm. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!
