Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a Fitter warehouse for Bridgwater to prefabricate HVAC ductwork and prepare assemblies for dispatch to Hinkley Point C. You will inspect components to meet nuclear standards and maintain accurate records while working in a highly regulated environment.

This role requires experience in HVAC, ability to read technical drawings, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You will operate in a nuclear-ready warehouse with strict health, safety, and security

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC field or similar production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Commitment to nuclear safety and quality standards.
• Rigorous, detail-oriented, and organised in a highly regulated setting.

Responsibilities

• Prefabricate HVAC ductwork assemblies per engineering drawings and specs.
• Prepare duct and assemblies for dispatch to Hinkley Point C construction site.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure conformance with nuclear industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of prefabrication, inventory, and dispatch schedules.
• Ensure workspace adheres to health, safety, and nuclear site regulations.
• Support continuous improvement in warehouse workflow and prefabrication processes.
