Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a Site Trainer to join the team in Thetford, working nights 18:00–06:00 on a 4 on 4 off pattern. The rate is £15.25 per hour with a 10% night shift allowance between 22:00 and 06:00.

You will deliver training on production lines and occasionally in the classroom, helping operatives learn and develop. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be IT literate in Microsoft Office, and comfortable recording training and maintaining records for audits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• IT literate with good typing skills and confidence in Microsoft Office.
• Time management and ability to prioritise workload while delivering good customer service.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
• Level 3 in education and training would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional content clearly to a diverse workforce.
• Create a supportive training atmosphere for classroom and shop floor.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure timely compliance training.
• Maintain and file signed training records for auditing.
• Keep training records up to date for auditing purposes.

Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for aSite Trainerto join the team in Thetford.

The hours of work and shift patterns is Nights 18.00 - 06.00 on a 4on, 4off rotation basis.

The rate of pay is £15.25 per hour (+10% night shift allowance between 10pm - 6am)

As a Site Trainer with 2 Sisters Food Group, you will be working closely with our factory colleagues delivering training on the production lines and at times in the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate will have some factory knowledge, but this is not essential. You must be confident to deliver training so excellent verbal communication skills are key as you audience will consists of different nationalities. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has a friendly and helpful approach and will enjoy seeing people learn and develop.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver instructional content in a clear and effective manner, ensuring comprehension among all employees. To provide the necessary support, to enable the operatives to reach Customer and Company standards.
• Create a supportive training atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration both in a classroom and shop floor environment.
• Calibrate with all departments to ensure compliance training is delivered, within the required timeframe, and any issue are highlighted ASAP.
• Ensure all signed training records are placed onto the Matrix, scanned and placed within their personal file.
• To maintain adequate training records for auditing purposes.
• Stay updated on educational trends and methodologies to continuously improve teaching strategies.

In addition, you must be prepared to make any reasonable requests made to meet the business needs of the company.

Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• IT literate with good typing skills and confidence in using a range of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Time management skills and the ability to priorities their workload effectively along with good customer service skills.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues.Able to work with a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively.
• Qualified in ‘level 3 in education and training’ would be advantages but, not essential as we will invest in the right candidate.
