Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Thetford is seeking a Site Trainer to deliver training on the production lines and, at times, in the classroom, helping operatives reach Customer and Company standards.

You will work Nights 18:00–06:00 on a 4on 4off rotation and be rewarded with £15.25 per hour plus a 10% night shift allowance between 10pm and 6am.

Strong verbal communication, friendly approach and the ability to engage a diverse workforce are essential to the role.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• IT literate with good typing skills and confidence in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Time management skills and the ability to prioritise their workload effectively along with good customer service skills.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues.
• Able to work with a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively.
• Qualified in ‘level 3 in education and training’ would be advantages but, not essential as we will invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional content in a clear and effective manner, ensuring comprehension among all employees.
• Create a supportive training atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration both in a classroom and shop floor environment.
• Calibrate with all departments to ensure compliance training is delivered, within the required timeframe, and any issue are highlighted ASAP.
• Ensure all signed training records are placed onto the Matrix, scanned and placed within their personal file.
• To maintain adequate training records for auditing purposes.
• Stay updated on educational trends and methodologies to continuously improve teaching strategies.
