Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Thetford is seeking a Production Line Manager to lead the Packing Department. The role covers day 0600‑1800 or night 1800‑0600, on a 4 on 4 off pattern, with a pay rate of £17.24 per hour plus 10% night shift allowance (£18.96).

You will maintain health and safety, GMP readiness, and coach a team to meet KPIs while implementing improvements in collaboration with Production Managers. Experience in food manufacturing and strong people management are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferable.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the tasks set out in the main responsibilities.
• A strong focus on succession planning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Health and Safety standards on the production line.
• Maintain GMP/Audit readiness across the site.
• Lead a team and drive performance.
• Ensure product and customer specifications are met.
• Support equipment changeovers and asset care.
• Provide competency training for key skills.

Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunityfora Production Line Managerto join our Packing Department inThetford

• Days 0600 - 1800 OR Nights 1800 - 0600
• 4on 4off
• The rateof pay is:£17.24ph + 10% Night Shift Allowance between 10pm - 6am (£18.96)

The key tasks for the role will include

• Maintaining Health and Safety standards
• Maintaining GMP/Audit Readiness
• Responsibility for and leading a team of people
• Meeting product/customer specifications
• Asset care - supporting with equipment changeovers
• Competency training of key skills
• Working with Production Managers to implement operational improvements
• Coaching and mentoring the team to progress and deliver operational performance against agreed KPIs

Qualifications
