Crem Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Trainer for a leading global manufacturing company near Saffron Walden.

The role focuses on developing and delivering training programs for production staff, covering manufacturing processes, safety and quality standards. You will create training materials, SOPs and SOPs, maintain records, and collaborate with management to identify training needs and address gaps.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials (SOPs, job aids, process manuals, presentations).
• Deliver on-the-job training, classroom instruction and other methods for production staff focusing on quality, safety and production.
• Coach shift team members using one-point lessons (OPLs).
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback to meet targets and standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality and technical teams to identify training needs and changes.
• Induct new starters to the site and ensure understanding of roles and responsibilities.
• Maintain knowledge of production, EHS changes and update the skills matrix and certification records.

Salary: £33,228 DOE

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Our client is a leading global manufacturing company within the food and additives industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Site Trainer to join their busy manufacturing facility in Saffron Walden.

Job Purpose

Develop and deliver training programs to production staff, covering manufacturing processes, safety, and quality standards, while also creating training materials such as job aids and SOPs, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with management to identify and address training needs.

Main Duties

• Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, process manuals, and presentations.
• Conduct on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and other training methods for new and existing employees, focusing on production, quality, and safety requirements.
• Coach shift team members in key manufacturing activities using one-point lessons (OPLs).
• Evaluate employee performance during training, provide constructive feedback, and ensure employees meet performance targets and required standards.
• Partner with production, quality, and technical teams to identify skill gaps and training needs, ensuring training aligns with operational changes.
• Induct new starters to the site, ensuring they fully understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of production and environmental, health and safety (EHS) changes within the factory.
• Update the skills matrix and maintain training certification records for all employees, ensuring all information is accurate.
