Job summary

Crem Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting for a Site Trainer at a manufacturing facility near Saffron Walden. You will develop and deliver training programs for production staff, covering manufacturing processes, safety and quality standards, and create training materials such as SOPs and job aids.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols and quality systems.
• Familiar with relevant company software and IT literacy.
• Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Ability to adapt learning resources for a diverse workforce.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training materials such as SOPs, job aids and presentations.
• Conduct on-the-job and classroom training for production staff on manufacturing, quality and safety requirements.
• Coach shift teams using one-point lessons (OPLs).
• Evaluate trainee performance, provide feedback and ensure standards are met.
• Identify skill gaps with production, quality and technical teams and address training needs.
• Induct new starters and ensure they understand roles and responsibilities.
• Maintain knowledge of production and EHS changes within the site.
• Update skills matrix and training certification records for all staff.
