Job summary

WPS is offering a Site Surveyor role in the South Derby area, with regular travel across the contract area. You will manage projects from initial survey through to final account, coordinating surveys, budgets, valuations and progress reports while working with clients, residents, and subcontractors.

The role blends commercial awareness with project delivery in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years in planned maintenance or social housing, experience with subcontractors

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in planned maintenance, refurbishment, property services, or social housing.
• Experience managing subcontractors, valuations, procurement activities, and project costs.
• Knowledge of planned maintenance contracts, schedules of rates, and construction methodologies.
• Experience preparing valuations, financial reports, and final accounts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A full UK Driving Licence

WPS has an exciting opportunity for a Site Surveyor to join our Responsive team based in South Derby, with regular travel across the contract area. Working on planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes, you'll manage projects from initial survey through to final account. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality work while building strong relationships with clients, residents, operational teams, and subcontractors. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining commercial awareness with project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Site Surveyor, you will:

• Manage planned works projects from survey through to final account

• Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
• HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
