Job summary

WPS invites applications for a Site Surveyor role in South Derby, with regular travel across the contract area. You will manage projects from initial survey through to final account, building strong relationships with clients, residents, operational teams and subcontractors.

This role combines commercial awareness with proactive project delivery in a fast-paced environment and requires 2-3 years' experience in maintenance/refurbishment. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in planned maintenance, refurbishment, property services, or social housing.
• Experience managing subcontractors, valuations, procurement activities, and project costs.
• Knowledge of planned maintenance contracts, schedules of rates, and construction methodologies
• Experience preparing valuations, financial reports, and final accounts
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

WPS has an exciting opportunity for a Site Surveyor to join our Responsive team based in South Derby, with regular travel across the contract area.

Working on planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes, you'll manage projects from initial survey through to final account. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality work while building strong relationships with clients, residents, operational teams, and subcontractors.

What You'll Be Doing

• Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
• HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
