Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites within water and utilities sectors. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and resources.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication, with hands-on experience in health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction sites within water/ wastewater utilities, with a track record of safely delivering work on time and to specification.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills, with confidence managing teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, supported by hands‑on site experience.
• Competent in planning, problem‑solving, reporting, and using digital site management tools.
• Relevant qualifications including SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor, First Aid, and associated safety and operational certifications (please see role profile for full list)

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of construction sites, ensuring safety, programme and budget targets.
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors, manage labour, plant and materials, ensure works meet design, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, maintain accurate site records, drive productivity, uphold health and safety standards.
