Job summary

Equans Data Centers is seeking a Site Supervisor – Mechanical to support their growing data centre project in High Wycombe. You will manage and oversee mechanical works on-site, ensuring compliance with specs, safety standards and schedules while leading installation engineers and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, site supervision experience and a proven track record with large contractors or subcontractors.

Equans Data Centers a Site Supervisor – Mechanical to support our growing Data Centre business to work on a project based in High Wycombe.

We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients Data Centre facilities and are recruiting a Site Supervisor – Mechanical to join our innovative team. The Site Supervisor – Mechanical will manage and oversee mechanical works on the project site. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards and project timelines while leading a team of installation engineers and subcontractors.

What you will deliver

• Supervise mechanical and commissioning activities on site.
• Coordinate and lead mechanical teams and subcontractors to meet project goals.
• Monitor quality and progress of works against project plans and drawings.
• Manage resources, materials and site logistics to maximise efficiency.
• Manage labour and resource on site.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to communicate status and issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including reports, permits and inspections.
• Managing the day to day activities on site and ensuring the programme of works is defined between all contractors for upcoming activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in site execution, labour utilisation and resource management.
