Job summary

XEIAD, part of British Engineering Services Group, is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee enabling works and supervising operations mainly in the Rail environment. You will supervise site activities, ensure safety, and deliver works to programme.

You will work with the Planning Team to ensure SSOW documentation, track access, and safety-critical resources are in place. A full UK driving licence is required, and proficiency with Word and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Recent operative experience in a railway or site environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise enabling works reconnaissance and delivery (brush cutting, debris removal, CCTV, etc.) as directed.
• Capture site condition pre and post works in reports.
• Lead/record close calls and report through systems.
• Coordinate with Planning Team to secure SSOW documentation and safety resources.
• Deliver works safely in accordance with Contract Specification and programme.

XEIAD is a specialist engineering inspection consultancy delivering highâquality inspections and assessments on critical infrastructure assets. Using specialist access techniques such as rope access, diving and confined space working, their expert engineers inspect structures including bridges, tunnels and culverts, providing reliable insight to help asset owners manage risk and maintain safety. What will you be doing? As a Site Supervisor for XEIAD, part of British Engineering Services Group, you will support the delivery of structural examinations (mainly in the Rail environment) by supervising enabling works as directed by the Enabling Works Manager You will also:

• Supervise a variety of enabling works reconnaissance and works delivery including (but not limited to) brush cutting, hedge trimming, clearing debris from bridge bearings, removal of advertisement hoardings, CCTV, brickwork removal/reinstatement, fence removal/re-instatement, de-watering and installing portable dams in accordance with company values
• Capture site condition pre and post work in a factual report-driven manner
• Lead / promote and record close calls as identified and report through appropriate systems
• Work closely with the Planning Team to ensure that all SSOW documentation, track access and safety critical resource requirements are in place to deliver the programme
• Deliver works safely andâ¯in accordance withâ¯the Contract Specification and programme of works. Ensuring that the team follow the Company Process & Procedures whilst adhering to the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards
• Recent experience as an operative in a railway or site environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
