Persimmon Homes is seeking a Setting Out Engineer in Gosforth, NE13. The role focuses on setting out foundations, drives and boundaries while coordinating with Site Management and Commercial Teams to uphold health and safety standards.

Typical duties include setting out of key areas, minor surveying and volumetric calculations, and maintaining a detailed daily diary. A CSCS card and a UK driving licence are essential, with SMSTS preferred.

Qualifikationen

Minimum HNC qualification.
Proficient CAD use desirable.
Experience in surveying/engineering.
Experience with Total Stations / setting out equipment.
GPS equipment essential.
Ability to manage own workload.
Use initiative to align with site programme.
UK driving licence.

Aufgaben

Set out foundations, drives, boundaries and ancillary areas.
Minor site surveying and volumetric calculations.
Liaise with Site Management & Commercial Teams.
Ensure health & safety standards are upheld.
Supervise and monitor progress and quality of subcontractors.
Maintain a detailed daily site diary.
Record as-built information accurately.
